How do I get a slave?
So, you have thought about it and you think you are ready to lead the life of royalty - you want to Own a slave! Well, there are a few ways to become a slave Owner.
One of the most traditional ways is to buy one. However, this is also totally illegal. No matter how you slice it up, buying a slave is illegal. So, instead of buying a slave, what you can (legally) do is buy the contract which binds a particular slave to (whomever may be) their current Owner.
The next way to Own a slave is to find a free (or "un-owned") person who, of their own free will, honestly and truly desires to enter a life of total servitude, and then enter a contract with them.
Another way to acquire a slave is to trade one you already have with another Owner. Well, you can't legally trade the slaves, but you can "negotiate a mutual transfer of contracts" which is the equivalent.
In the simplest terms, to Own a slave, all you need is a slave and a contract binding that slave to you. This might be enough for the most basic definition of "Owning a slave", but acquiring a slave is the easiest part. Owning a slave is an entirely different story.

The Responsibilities Of An Owner
We briefly covered the basic responsibilities in the "What Is Slavery" page, so let's review them:
A. Housing:
A slave requires a 'dry' living space of no less than 10 feet by ten feet, with protection from the weather, where the temperature will not drop below 55 degrees Fahrenheit nor rise above 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
B. Bathing and Grooming:
For health and sanitary reasons, a slave must be fully cleansed at least once per day. Whether you provide access to a $2,000.00 glass and stone shower stall with seven shower heads or simply run a garden hose, the slave still must be washed, with nonirritant soap, regularly. The dental care of a slave is also very important for obvious reasons.
C. Feeding:
A slave must be feed on a regular basis; to maintain good health in your slave, a balanced diet of nutritional foods and plenty of water must be provided by you for your slave.
D. Physical and Mental Health:
Conditioning and training a slave is one thing, but you will incur substantial medical costs if the general health and welfare of your slave(s) are not consistently kept in mind. An Owner must acquire more than a cursory, basic knowledge in both First Aid and General Psychology. An Owner must, in fact, be prepared to handle a wide variety of both physical and psychological maladies. Not only the body but the mind as well has limits to punishment and deprivation; and an Owner must know where the balance is to properly maintain their slave.
It is true: A slave exists for the benefit of their Owner; and, yes, that includes financially. So, one might think: "Gee, I'll just have my slave work at some really high paying job; then I can sit back and let them fill my bank account by having their paycheck direct deposited!"
Yeah, that's a great plan and all. Still, are you certain that your slave is employable? How is your slave going to get to, and back from, work? Where is your slave's work wardrobe going to come from? How long can your slave's health hold out both working a full time job and fulfilling all of their other slave duties? What if your slave is laid off? While it may be the case your slave can bring in piles of money for you, you, as a responsible Owner, should always be prepared for the worst case. It's just poor planning to depend on your slave's (or, at least, just one slave's) income as your sole household income.
It does not matter if your slave is employed when you take possession of them, once you Own them, you are ultimately responsible for everything in their life now. If they get promoted, you can take the credit. If they get fired, you are the only one to blame. If they get sick, it's now your responsibility to get them healthy again. If they get a speeding ticket, it's your responsibility to pay it. If they say something, it is as if you said it.
While you, as their Owner, reap all of the benefits from Owning a slave, you also bear all the burdens. A slave is your property. They do nothing without your direction or permission. If they do something wrong, it's not their fault - it is yours. You have to correct them. You have to discipline them. You have to train them. Everything, absolutely everything your slave does, everything your slave is, however your slave may be perceived, is a direct reflection on you. If your slave is perfect and beautiful, or if your slave is un-presentable and annoying - you take all the responsibility for them.
A slave is a human being; you cannot just "take them back to the pound" when you find they are too much trouble to care for and maintain. It's nothing at all like having the person you've been dating move in; this is a slave and you Own them. This is a tremendous responsibility. Every contingency should be considered before you even begin to contemplate Ownership of a slave.
if you are certain you are ready for the overwhelming challenge of Owning a real slave, our "brother" web site (http://www.GuardiansFortress.com) has recently opened a section where un-owned (female only) slaves are listed with detailed profiles. Guardian has a strict, 'members only' admission policy and is restricted to female slaves (and their owners); anyone interested in joining would have to undergo a screening process. For now, and on this site, you can discuss Real Life Slavery with others in the Discussion Arena.
